Dragons, Elves, and Heroes is an American fantasy anthology edited by Lin Carter. It was first published in October 1969 by Ballantine Books as the sixth volume in the Ballantine Adult Fantasy series. This was Carter's first anthology for the series, released at the same time as The Young Magicians. The collection features short stories within the fantasy genre.
