Spy Hook is a 1988 spy novel by Len Deighton and the first book in the Hook, Line and Sinker trilogy featuring Bernard Samson, a middle-aged MI6 intelligence officer. It is part of a sequence of three trilogies centered on Samson, following the Game, Set and Match trilogy and preceding the Faith, Hope and Charity trilogy. The novel is preceded by the prequel Winter, which covers the years 1900–1945 and provides background for some characters.
