Spy Sinker is a 1990 spy novel by Len Deighton and the final installment in the Hook, Line and Sinker trilogy, which follows Bernard Samson, a middle-aged MI6 intelligence officer. The novel is part of a larger sequence of nine novels, preceded by the Game, Set and Match trilogy and followed by the Faith, Hope and Charity trilogy. Deighton's earlier novel Winter (1987) serves as a prequel, covering the years 1900–1945 and providing background for some characters.
