About “We Are Legion”

Bob Johansson sells his software company and expects to enjoy retirement. He is killed while crossing the street and wakes up a century later, declared the property of the state. He has been uploaded into a computer and is assigned to control an interstellar probe searching for habitable planets. Refusing the assignment means being shut down, while accepting makes him a target. Other countries are also trying to launch probes, and they use underhanded methods. Bob believes space is the safest place, but the universe holds dangers that make trespassers enemies.
