About “A Book from the Sky”
A Book from the Sky is a book created by Chinese artist Xu Bing. It is made in the style of woodblock prints from the Song and Ming dynasties. The book is filled with meaningless glyphs that look like traditional Chinese characters. It has four volumes and 604 pages. It was printed in one print run of 126 copies between 1987 and 1991.
