A Child's Garden of Verses is a 1885 collection of 64 poems for children written by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson. The work has been reprinted multiple times, often with illustrations, and is recognized as one of the most influential children's books of the 19th century. The poems are written from a child's perspective and have inspired many imitations. Stevenson dedicated the book to his childhood nurse, Alison Cunningham.
