About “A Game for the Living”
Ramón, a quick-tempered and devoutly Catholic furniture fixer born into poverty in Mexico City, and Theodore, a rich German expatriate painter who lives in a mansion and believes in nothing, form an unlikely friendship after both having slept with Lelia. When Lelia is found brutally murdered in her apartment, both men become suspects and each suspects the other, leading them on a frantic chase from Mexico City to Acapulco and a small colonial mountain town where Theodore feels he is being watched.
