About “A Night in the Lonesome October”

A 1993 novel by Roger Zelazny. Jack the Ripper, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Frankenstein, Dracula, witches, werewolves, druids and others are combined in a tale of an approaching confrontation that, on a Halloween full moon, will change the cosmic balance between good and evil. The story is told through Snuff, Jack's guard dog, who performs magical calculations and accompanies his master on collecting expeditions in 19th century London over the course of 31 nights in October.
