About “Al-Amali”
Al-Amali, meaning "book of dictations," is a hadith collection compiled by al-Shaykh al-Saduq, a Shia jurist and theologian. The work records his regular sessions held on Tuesdays and Fridays in Nīšāpūr during the years 367–368 AH (978–979 CE). The contents include a variety of traditions, with a focus on the virtues of the Imams. It also contains accounts of the moral character of the household of Muhammad and teachings on ethical behavior. The collection reflects the religious and moral guidance shared during these sessions.
