Ant in a Glass Jar: Chechen Diaries 1994–2004 is a documentary book published in 2014. It is based on the personal diary of the author, Polina Zherebtsova, who wrote it during her time in Chechnya from 1994 to 2004. The book was written when she was between the ages of 9 and 19. It provides a firsthand account of her experiences during those years. The work is presented as a collection of diary entries. The title is also available in Russian as "Муравей в стеклянной банке.
