About “Thin Silver Thread”
Thin Silver Thread is a 2015 collection of 33 stories by Polina Zherebtsova. The work depicts the lives of civilians in Grozny during the Chechen wars. Written between 2005 and 2015, the stories reflect Zherebtsova’s observations and experiences in the Chechen Republic. The book was launched at the Sakharov Centre in Moscow on November 13, 2015.
