Ashadh Ka Ek Din is a Hindi play written by Mohan Rakesh, which debuted in 1958 and is recognized as the first Modern Hindi play. It won the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for best play in 1959 and has been performed by several notable directors with critical success.
