About “Bodas de sangre”

Blood Wedding is a tragedy written by the Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca. The play was composed in 1932 and had its first performance at the Teatro Beatriz in Madrid in March 1933. Later the same year, it was also performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The work is one of Lorca's most well-known plays, reflecting themes of love, fate, and social conflict.
