Champion jockey Kit Fielding becomes involved in a dangerous conflict when Henri Nanterre, the business partner of his fiancée's uncle, attempts to transform their road construction company into an armaments enterprise. Nanterre threatens the life of Princess Casilia, his partner's wife and owner of several of Kit's horses, leading to the deaths of some of her horses by captive-bullet bolt guns and subsequent near-lethal attacks on Kit and his fiancée Danielle, prompting Kit to devise a plan to stop Nanterre.
