Welcome home, Space Commander Lane. After a difficult year evading hostile aliens in the unmapped spaces between the stars, Lane has been away for ten years. Upon returning, he finds that things on Earth have changed. Spaceport is a special city with its own problems. During the absence of the adults, including Lane’s own father, the children have organized and taken care of each other. They believe they have the power now.
