This is a six-volume account by Winston Churchill of the Allied powers' struggle in Europe against Germany and the Axis, told through his eyes as British Prime Minister. Volume Four, The Hinge of Fate, describes changing Allied fortunes, while Volume Five, Closing the Ring, shows the Allies going on the offensive as Mussolini falls and Hitler is besieged on three sides.
