About “David's Psalter”
David's Psalter is a poetic translation of the Book of Psalms into Polish, created by Jan Kochanowski, a leading poet of the Polish Renaissance. The work was published in 1579 in Kraków by the Lazarus printing house. It represents an important literary and religious contribution from the Renaissance period in Poland.
