About “Debt of honor”

Japanese industrialist Razio Yamata devises a plan to cripple American power and elevate Japan to world dominance, driven by a desire to avenge his parents' deaths, which he blames on America. A fiery car-tank accident gives a congressman cause to rush a new trade law that instead hands Yamata the leverage for his plan, prompting National Security Advisor Jack Ryan to investigate.
