About “Desert Gold”

The book follows Dick Gale, a young man from a wealthy background, who arrives in the border town of Casita seeking adventure but becomes entangled in a dangerous conflict involving gambling, corruption, revolution, and revenge. He becomes involved with a woman loved by his friend Thorne, and faces the threat of the feared Mexican rebel Rojas, who collects women and spends gold recklessly, forcing Gale into a life-or-death confrontation on the desert cliffs.
