About “Dragonwings CD”
A young boy travels from rural China to San Francisco in 1903 to join his father, who lives and works in Chinatown, finding the language, clothes, houses, food, customs, and calendar all strange. He learns to adapt, makes new friends, experiences the great San Francisco earthquake of 1906, and shares folktales and customs from his home country with fellow Chinese.
