Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said is a 1974 science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick. The story follows Jason Taverner, a genetically enhanced pop singer and television star who wakes up in a world where he no longer exists. His ID cards are gone, and official records have erased all evidence of his life. His songs no longer exist, and no one recognizes him. Set in a futuristic dystopia, the novel takes place in a United States that has become a police state after a Second Civil War. Jason struggles to survive in a society that has turned against him. The book was nominated for a Nebula Award in 1974 and a Hugo Award in 1975. It won the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel in 1975.
