About “Fortunately, the Milk”

A little boy and his little sister awake one morning without milk, their mother away and their father buried in the newspaper. They persuade their father that his tea also lacks milk, but he takes a long time to return with it. When he finally comes back, he tells a story involving aliens, pirates, ponies, wumpires, time travel, and a stegosaurus professor who pilots a Floaty-Ball-Person-Carrier, with the milk rescued at every turn.
