About “Genma Wars”
Genma Wars is a Japanese science fiction manga and novel franchise that started in 1967. It was created by science fiction writer Kazumasa Hirai and manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori for Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The franchise was adapted into a 1983 anime film and a 2002 anime television series. A 1983 laserdisc video game titled Bega's Battle was also released in North America.
