Spider-Man: The Manga, known as Spider-Man in Japan, is a superhero manga series written by Kōsei Ono and Kazumasa Hirai and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami. It was published from January 1970 to September 1971 in Monthly Shōnen Magazine. The story retells Spider-Man's adventures in a Japanese setting, with Yu Komori as the teen alter ego of Spider-Man. Initially based on American Marvel stories, the series gradually incorporated original content. In the Marvel Comics multiverse, this version exists in the reality known as Earth-70019.
