Gods' Man is a wordless novel created by American artist Lynd Ward in 1929. It consists of 139 woodblock prints that tell a story without words. The narrative follows an artist who trades his soul for a magical paintbrush. The story is based on the Faust legend. Gods' Man was the first wordless novel published in the United States.
