About “Green Patches”
"Green Patches" is a science fiction short story by Isaac Asimov. It was first published in the November 1950 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction under the title "Misbegotten Missionary." The story was later reprinted in the 1952 anthology Tomorrow, the Stars under the same title. In 1969, it was included in Asimov's collection Nightfall and Other Stories, where it was retitled "Green Patches."
