About “Kafamda bir tuhaflik”
Mevlut Karataş, who grew up in a poor village in Central Anatolia, moves to Istanbul at the age of twelve and begins selling boza, a traditional mildly alcoholic Turkish drink, on the streets. Over the course of his life, he navigates a series of personal and professional missteps, including an accidental elopement with the sister of a woman he once saw at a wedding, and spends years feeling a persistent sense of "strangeness" in his mind, ultimately coming to understand what he has long yearned for.
