About “Khtbat-e-madras”
Khutbat-e-Madras is a collection of eight sermons on the life of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, written by Syed Suleiman Nadvi. It was first published in 1936 and was prepared for a non-Arab, non-Muslim audience. The sermons were originally delivered by Nadvi in October and November 1925 at the request of the Islami Taleemi Anjuman at Madras University. The work aims to present the life and teachings of Muhammad to those unfamiliar with Islamic tradition. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
