About “King Lear”
King Lear divides his kingdom between the two daughters who flatter him and banishes the third, who truly loves him. His eldest daughters reject him, driving him mad and out into a storm; his banished daughter returns with an army, but they lose the battle and Lear, his daughters, and others die.
