About “Liber antiquitatum”
Also known by the Latin title Liber Antiquitatum Biblicarum, this text is attributed to the unknown author conventionally called Pseudo-Philo. Probably originally written in Hebrew, it survives only through a Latin translation found in 18 complete and 3 fragmentary manuscripts dating between the eleventh and fifteenth centuries CE.
