About “Lisey's Story”

Two years after her husband's death, Lisey Landon decides to go through his office to clear out his papers. Scott Landon was a bestselling novelist, and Lisey has been pressured by people wanting to buy his unpublished work, but she refuses to let them have it. While cleaning, she is contacted by an unsavory man named Zack McCool, who threatens her if she does not hand over the papers. Lisey finds strength she never knew she had and refuses. Zack begins to stalk her. As she deals with the threat, Lisey starts to remember strange events from her marriage that she had forgotten. These memories include clues that may help her survive. The story is a 2006 novel by Stephen King.
