About “Mexico City blues”
A long poem by Jack Kerouac made up of 242 stanzas called "choruses," written mostly in the summer of 1955 but not published until late 1959. Its style reflects Kerouac's spontaneous prose technique, Buddhist faith, and passion for jazz, along with his despondency over his stalled writing career at the time.
