About “Nagrada”

Gaëlle de Barbet is a sixteen-year-old girl in 1940 when the German army occupies France, leading to the arrest of her closest friend, Rebekah Feldmann, and her family, and the subsequent deaths of her father and brother. She becomes involved with the French Resistance, risking her life to save Jewish children and later participates in a secret mission to preserve France's artistic heritage, only to be falsely accused of collaboration after the war and forced to flee Lyon.
