Lunacy, Alaska, was Nate Burke's last chance. Having watched his partner die on the street as a Baltimore cop, with guilt still haunting him, he accepts the job as Chief of Police in this tiny, remote Alaskan town. Just as he wonders if it was all a mistake, an unexpected kiss under the Northern Lights on New Year's Eve lifts his spirit and convinces him to stay.
