About “Novum organum scientiarum”
The Novum Organum, published in 1620, is a philosophical work by Francis Bacon written in Latin. The title refers to Aristotle's Organon, a treatise on logic. In Novum Organum, Bacon presents a new system of logic, which he believes is better than traditional syllogism. This method is now called the Baconian method.
