About “Ole Lukøje”
"Ole Lukøje" is a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen based on a folk story about a mysterious figure known as the Sandman. This character is said to help children fall asleep. Ole Lukøje carries two umbrellas. One umbrella has pictures inside and is used for good children, who then have beautiful dreams all night.
