About “Scivias”

Scivias is an illustrated work by Hildegard von Bingen, completed between 1151 and 1152. It records 26 religious visions she experienced and is the first of three books she wrote about her visions. The other two works are Liber vitae meritorum and De operatione Dei. The title comes from the Latin phrase Sci vias Domini, meaning "Know the ways of the Lord."
