Shadow Divers is a true adventure recounting the story of two weekend scuba divers, John Chatterton and Richie Kohler, who in 1991 discovered a World War II German U-boat 230 feet below the surface in the frigid Atlantic waters sixty miles off the New Jersey coast. Over the next six years, the divers and an elite team pursued the mystery of the U-boat’s identity and crew, facing dangerous conditions and personal sacrifices, ultimately forming a deep bond with each other and the drowned sailors.
