About “Sonnet 28”
Sonnet 28 is the 28th of 154 sonnets published by William Shakespeare in 1609, part of the Fair Youth group and of a further group centered on the solitary poet reflecting on his friend. It carries a theme of night and sleeplessness, a traditional motif also found in Petrarchan sonnets. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
