Soul Eater Not! is a Japanese manga series created by Atsushi Ohkubo, who also wrote and illustrated the original Soul Eater series. It serves as a spin-off, set before the events of the main series. The manga was published in Square Enix's Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine from January 2011 to November 2014. A 12-episode anime adaptation produced by Bones was broadcast on TV Tokyo from April to July 2014. The anime was also simulcast in North America by Funimation.
