About “Tawrat”
In Islam, the Tawrat (Torah) is regarded as an Islamic holy book revealed by God to guide the Children of Israel, given to Musa (Moses). The word appears eighteen times in the Quran, particularly in passages about Jewish people, their history, and Jewish prophets also recognized as Islamic prophets. Muslims hold it in identification with other books of the Hebrew Bible and with Jewish writings in the Talmud and Midrash. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
