About “The bomb”
The Bomb is a fictional account centered on the Haymarket affair, in which a bomb killed police officers responding to a labor protest, followed by a trial that convicted five anarchists who were not involved in the bombing. The narrative is presented from the perspective of the uncaught bomb-thrower and illustrates how political terrorism, similar to that associated with the Unabomber and the Oklahoma City bombing, emerged over a century ago as an expression of political disobedience.
