Told through the diary of a young girl named Katy, this novella follows her plan to find her single father a girlfriend, someone she has already picked out. Convinced that her father has been lonely since the divorce and never dates, Katy sets her sights on her teacher, Miss Adler, whom she describes as pretty, kind, and the most amazing teacher in the world. She is determined to show the two adults that they are perfect for each other.
