About “The English Air”

In 1938, Wynne, an English girl, meets her half-German cousin Franz during his visit to England. Franz, who is conducting undercover research for his Nazi father using his English relatives as a cover, falls in love with Wynne, later becomes disillusioned with Nazism, joins an underground resistance group, escapes to Scotland, recovers from injury and illness, reveals his secrets to Wynne's Uncle Dane, who is in British Intelligence, becomes engaged to Wynne as Frank, and goes to fight for Finland against the Germans.
