About “The Eyes of the Dragon”
The Eyes of the Dragon is a fantasy novel by Stephen King, first published in 1984 as a limited edition by Philtrum Press, with illustrations by Kenneth R. Linkhauser. It was later released in 1987 for mass market by Viking, with revised text and illustrations by David Palladini. A 1995 French edition featured new illustrations by Christian Heinrich, and a 2016 French version included illustrations by Nicolas Duffaut. The book, originally titled The Napkins, marked a departure from King’s usual horror genre, offering an epic fantasy set in a quasi-medieval world where magic and a clear battle between good and evil are central.
