The Flowers of Evil is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shūzō Oshimi. It was serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from September 2009 to May 2014. The story centers on Takao Kasuga, a middle school student who is forced into a "contract" by his classmate Sawa Nakamura after he is caught stealing the gym clothes of his crush, Nanako Saeki. The series follows the events that unfold among the three characters as a result of this incident. The title of the manga is derived from Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du mal.
