About “The Garden of Forking Paths”
"The Garden of Forking Paths" is a 1941 short story by Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. It is the title story in the collection El jardín de senderos que se bifurcan, published in 1941. The story was republished in 1944 in the collection Ficciones. It was first translated into English in 1948 by Anthony Boucher and appeared in Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine.
