About “The law of peoples”

This book contains two parts: "The Idea of Public Reason Revisited," originally published in 1997, and "The Law of Peoples," a more extensive revision of a 1993 article with the same title. Together, these works represent the final thoughts of John Rawls on liberalism and contemporary challenges after more than fifty years of philosophical reflection. The book presents his ideas on justice, public reasoning, and the principles that should guide relations between peoples.
