About “The Night of Wishes”

The story takes place at the villa of Beelzebub Irrwitzer, a member of the Secret Magic Council who has gained great magical powers through a pact with the devil. He has failed to fulfill his part of the agreement, which includes eradicating ten animal species, poisoning rivers and seas, and causing climate catastrophes. On New Year's Eve, Maledictus Made, an agent of the Lord of External Darkness, arrives to give Irrwitzer a final ultimatum before the end of the year or else he will be seized. Irrwitzer receives unexpected help from his aunt Tyrannja Vamperl, a powerful witch who is also under pressure from Maledictus Made. Together, they prepare a forbidden wish potion to complete their evil deeds in time. Opposing them are Tyrannja's raven, Jakob Krakel, and Irrwitzer's cat, Maurizio di Mauro, both sent as spies by the High Council of Animals to prevent further harm. Upon learning of the wish potion, they immediately take action to stop the disaster. They risk their lives to prevent catastrophe. It remains uncertain whether they will succeed.
