The Right Hand of the Grand Master is a historical novel by Georgian writer Konstantine Gamsakhurdia, first published in 1939 in the literary magazine Mnatobi. The author described it as a "knightly novel" and it received critical acclaim in Georgia and the Soviet Union. Its Russian-translated version sold 700,000 copies across 12 publications during the author’s lifetime.
